Find Your Correct Bra Size

Are you wearing the right size?

Almost 8 in 10 women are wearing the wrong size- you may be one of them. Why? Your body changes over time, and your fit will change year to year as you lose or gain weight, exercise more or less, and so on. If you are experiencing discomfort, spillage over your cups or back strap, tight straps, or a gap between your cups, you are most likely wearing the wrong size.

Measuring yourself for a bra is an art, not a science

Our fit guide can provide you with a good starting point. If you’re not sure what size you wear, or fall between two sizes, you may want to try several sizes and styles as a starting point.

00faf_p2058h Looking for Connectivity? ‘Wi’ not ‘Fi’nd it on your T-Shirt.Is it a gadget or is it a t-shirt? Proving that what you wear can be multi-functional, or perhaps that our compulsive obsession of finding Wi-Fi signal has literally taken over, this handy shirt helps you to keep track of the strength of your nearest wireless hotspots.

If your t-shirt bars are all bright and illuminated then your connectivity is at an all time high, but if you’re stuck in a field with some sheep in a remote corner of Wales, or currently in my house by the sea which is struggling to access the outside world, then it’s unlikely that any bars will be glowing and you’ll have amuse yourself with scrabble or a tricky jigsaw puzzle instead. It’s nice to be kept informed though.

Maybe it’s more useful as a portable chest-torch than an accurate technological gadget but it does give us a glimpse into the not so distant future of intelligent fabric. You will need to accessorise this particular piece with a battery pack, and maybe it would be best to avoid going swimming in it, just to be on the safe side. But as far as fashion goes to being a public service, you’d be well on your way wearing this t-shirt…yeah, the only down side I can see is that you’d have to carry a mirror about to monitor your glowing bars, but the other signal seekers on the street won’t be able to take their eyes off you!

NuUniform can produce it for you with your own logo/design with that blinking wifi signals. MOQ from 500 pieces per design. If you just want a flashing logo and needs no wifi receiver or audio-sensor (ie. flashing with any sound signal detected), the MOQ can be scaling down to 50 pieces per design.

You can do it on t-shirts, caps and even floor mat.

The technology:

An illuminated display panel for a garment including an electroluminescent circuit (aka EL Panel) having an electrical microchip, a plurality of resistors, a plurality of semiconductor rectifiers, and an electroluminescent display element, all being connected to the electrical microchip; and a battery compartment with miniature flat batteries contained therein.

The illuminated display panel for a garment further includes a display label having indicia thereon and being attached to the electroluminescent display element by gluing, stitching, sewing, stapling, epoxy, cementing or combinations thereof.

The electroluminescent display element is attached to the garment by gluing, stitching, sewing, stapling, epoxy cementing or combinations thereof. The electroluminescent display element is electrically connected to the electroluminescent circuit by one or more soldered connection points; and a pair of connection wires electrically connects the one or more soldered connection points to the electroluminescent circuit.

Washing:

1. Dry clean or hand wash.
2. Remove power unit before washing.
3. Do not immerse any part of the flash EL panel into water.
4. The EL panel can be made detachable on shirt by velcro for easy washing!

I was once in a prominent management consulting firm downtown where the person watering the plants was dressed more professionally than one of the consultant walking through the lobby.

When times are good dress tends to relax because there is ample business to be had by all.  During tighter times a corporate dress elevates because it is one way you can keep up with or ahead of your competition.  Having an employee wear a shirt or jacket with your company logo on it has the opportunity to accomplish many goals at once:

  • Project a professional image to clientèle
  • Advertise to prospective clients
  • Brand their company in the mind of clients & prospects
  • Set the standard for what is to be worn around the office
  • Allow employees to focus on their jobs instead of what to wear
  • Avoid disputes over what can/can’t be worn in the workplace

One of my clients who owns a sign company was out in public wearing a very nice company polo we had made for them.  He was asked about his company and later landed a contract making signs for a college stadium.  This job was followed by more work other colleges.  Could this have happened wearing a plain t-shirt that weekend?  Is your clothing working for you?

Remember, “Your Employees’ Image Is Your Company’s Image”!

They may smile, but you wouldn't mess with them...Few people would class the week of the golfing Ryder Cup as a landmark fashion occasion, but this year the European “Gwags” (you’ve got it, the Golfer’s Wives and Girlfriends) have been supporting their respective partners with both polite applause and a range of specially designed outfits.

Surprisingly, the Ryder Cup is not only associated with visors, pink polo shirts and tailored trousers, but it is notoriously a sporting competition with a reputation for a venomous rivalry that even extends into the wardrobes of those Gwags. Their attire is allegedly a key component in the psychological manipulation of their opponents.

This year the tailor made outfits of the European Gwags were designed by Valerie Bircher and Paul Costello, who took the climate and light conditions of Valhalla, Kentucky into careful consideration to create a range of neutral shades - subtly striking. The ladies were also keen to mix in some key pieces and fluctuate between skirts and trousers, short sleeves and long, so in true Spice Girl style the outfits are supposed to reflect the individualities of each wife or girlfriend…hmmm, wonder which one will be baby…

3004d_am-queen-print-tee Styling Idea: London Fashion Week Rules Britannia

This week fashion land celebrates being British with London Fashion Week. It looks like those designers have been getting in the mood with a patriotic hand on heart to our Queen, nation, the British Bulldog and a rousing chorus or two of ‘Rule Britannia’.

Alexander McQueen’s royal print dresses are quite literally fit for a Queen, and his slightly more affordable Union Jack t-shirt is nicely finished off with a sash and red rose along the bottom. Meanwhile, Betty Jackson encourages us to show off the heritage of the British monarchy with a pair of Henry VIII Tudor print pants, my particular favourites.

Custom Lanyard for Your Organization

thumbs_nintendo-cord Custom Lanyard for Your Organizationthumbs_philips-cord Custom Lanyard for Your OrganizationA lanyard, laniard, or wrist strap is a rope or cord often worn around the neck or wrist to carry something. The word is originate from the marine business but now it is more used to refer to the cord for your cell phone or your staff patch.

It is also widely used with small electronic devices. With increasing miniaturisation, many cameras, MP3 players and USB flash drives include lanyards, providing easy portability and insurance against loss or dropping. Electronics designed to take a lanyard usually have a small through-hole built into a corner or edge of the case or anchored to the frame of the device; the corresponding lanyard generally has a loop of thread on the end that is attached to that hole with a simple knot, usually a cow hitch. The Apple iPod nano headphones incorporate the audio signal into the lanyard, meaning it doubles up as headphone cords as well.

NuUniform is producing lanyard for you from 500 pieces per design. Still be reminded that setup cost of adding embroidery and other complex features can be high, which thus demands a  higher order quantity like 10,000 pieces so to make sense on unit cost. Typical unit price be in the range of US$0.8-$1.4.

Nevertheless you don’t need to know any technical knowledge on describing a lanyard. You can just send us your logo design and budget, we will put in as many features for you as possible.
